Business Development Manager – Food
Job description
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, increase market share, and support profitable business expansion across the Dairy, Meat, and Food sectors. This role is focused on new business development, key account management, and executing commercial strategies that deliver sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and market strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
- Identify and pursue market opportunities to expand market share.
- Generate new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and senior industry stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and ongoing client engagement.
- Proven success in business development and sales growth.
- Experience in key account management, technical sales, or customer relationship management within a B2B environment.
- Experience in the food industry and/or laboratory services sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical or science-based qualification preferred.
- Proactive, resilient, and results-oriented approach.
