Sales Coordinator

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our Sales Coordinator.
The Sales Coordinator supports the Leisure Sales team in driving revenue for Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha by providing comprehensive administrative and operational support. This role coordinates sales activities, manages client communications, prepares proposals and contracts, maintains accurate records, and ensures seamless execution of leisure business opportunities. Working closely with internal departments and external travel partners, the Sales Coordinator contributes to delivering exceptional service, strengthening client relationships, and achieving the hotels' leisure sales objectives while upholding the luxury standards of Raffles and Fairmont Doha.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the Leisure Sales team
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage and maintain client accounts, correspondence, and sales records in the CRM system
- Coordinate with travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, and other leisure partners
- Assist in responding to client inquiries and follow up on quotations, contracts, and payments
- Monitor room allocations, release dates, and booking status in coordination with Reservations and Revenue Management
- Prepare reports, sales activity updates, and performance trackers for the Leisure Sales team
- Coordinate site inspections, familiarization trips, and client visits
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of bookings and client requirements
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure all sales documentation is up to date
- Support the team in planning and coordinating sales missions, trade shows, and promotional events
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, and sales procedures
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Leisure Sales or Sales Managers
What will you bring to this role?
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience in a sales coordination, reservations, or hospitality sales role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment
- Experience supporting leisure sales, travel agencies, tour operators, or wholesale business is an advantage
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with additional languages considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with hotel systems such as Opera Cloud, Delphi, or other CRM and sales management platforms is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
