What you will be doing

We are looking for a proactive and commercially aware HR Business Partner to join our People team. This role is ideal for an HR professional with a proven background of experience in a global/ multi-country organisation , who is looking to further develop their strategic partnering capability within a dynamic and complex business environment.

Working closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide trusted HR guidance and support across a broad range of people activities including workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, organisational change, and employee engagement. You will play a key role in helping managers navigate people challenges while contributing to the delivery of strategic HR initiatives that support business success.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, using data and insights to inform decision-making, and working in a collaborative environment where they can make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Support

  • Build effective relationships with managers and business leaders, providing HR guidance and support on people-related matters.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business priorities and help deliver people initiatives aligned to organisational goals.
  • Support the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Provide practical and commercially minded advice to managers on a wide range of people topics.

Workforce Planning & Talent

  • Support workforce planning activities through the analysis of people data, business requirements, and market trends.
  • Contribute to talent management, succession planning, and development discussions to help identify and build future capability.
  • Work with leaders to support attraction, development, engagement, and retention initiatives.

HR Programmes, Policies & Processes

  • Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of HR programmes and frameworks across areas including recruitment, performance management, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, onboarding, and retention.
  • Support the development, communication, and application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.

Employee Relations

  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters including performance management, absence, disciplinary, grievance, and conduct issues.
  • Partner with managers to investigate and resolve employee relations cases in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Ensure employment practices are compliant with relevant legislation and company policies, escalating complex cases where appropriate.

HR Analytics & Insights

  • Analyse HR data and people metrics to identify trends and areas of focus.
  • Support the development of reports and insights that inform workforce planning, engagement initiatives, and business decision-making.
  • Use data and evidence to help recommend practical people solutions.

Change & Organisational Effectiveness

  • Support organisational change initiatives and transformation programmes within the business area.
  • Assist leaders in managing change effectively by promoting engagement, communication, and adoption of new ways of working.
  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen organisational culture and employee experience.

You will ideally have

Experience

  • Proven background and experience working in HR, including experience in an HR Advisor, People Partner, HR Consultant, or HR Business Partner role.
  • Experience partnering with managers and stakeholders across a range of people-related topics.
  • Exposure to workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organisational change.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced and complex organisational environment.
  • Previous experience within a global or matrix organisation would be advantageous.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence and coach managers with confidence and credibility.
  • Good commercial awareness and an understanding of how people initiatives support business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a changing environment.

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience).
  • Ideally educated to degree-level or equivalent professional qualification
