As a Personal Independence - CoE Investments - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Risk and Compliance team, focusing on maintaining regulatory compliance and managing risks for clients. You will provide advice and solutions to help organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enhance their internal controls to mitigate risks effectively.

As a Manager, you will lead teams, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for the execution of project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on expectations. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires, you will be responsible for developing business strategies to effectively manage and navigate risks in a rapidly changing business environment. You will analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system, taking ownership of projects to validate their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the development and implementation of enterprise risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks
  • Analyzing and identifying linkages and interactions within complex systems to enhance risk management processes
  • Taking ownership of projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and completion, to meet organizational objectives
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to leverage their strengths and improve performance
  • Collaborating with leadership to maintain collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables
  • Utilizing analytical thinking and data analysis to support risk identification and mitigation efforts
  • Developing and refining business processes to improve efficiency and compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Engaging in difficult conversations with stakeholders to address conflicts and issues effectively
  • Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
  • Encouraging innovation and embracing change to enhance risk management practices and team development

What You Must Have

  • At least a High School Diploma or the equivalent degree
  • At least 4 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

  • Perform investment research and analysis, reviewing financial statements, prospectuses, and investment literature, applying judgment to assess relevant facts, identify risks, and prepare summaries and recommendations for senior review.
  • Drive operational excellence and team effectiveness through process improvements, quality controls, coaching on execution and documentation standards, and the use of dashboards, workflow tools, automation, and AI while collaborating closely with AC, US, and India teams in a One Team environment.
