Quality System Engineer
Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality System Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality management standards, regulatory requirements, and internal audit systems while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. You will play a key role in maintaining an effective Quality Management System (QMS) that supports operational excellence, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibility
- Ensure compliance with the company's Internal Audit System, ISO 9001 requirements, applicable legal regulations, and technical compliance standards.
- Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet business and customer requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and support internal and external audits, including certification and customer audits.
- Monitor and analyze quality system performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools and methodologies to enhance product quality, process capability, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective management of non-conformities, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote quality awareness and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide training and guidance on QMS requirements, quality standards, and compliance-related topics.
- Support regulatory and customer compliance requirements while ensuring readiness for audits and inspections.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, or a related manufacturing environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and audit requirements.
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and tools such as Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, PDCA, 8D, SPC, and Lean principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across functions.
- Certified Internal Auditor qualification is an advantage.
