Front-End Developer

About the Company The company is an exciting Start-Up that is working on the next disruption in the market. Imagine Netflix, but in the automotive industry. The company has partnered up with authorised car dealers, to provide a platform for consumers to drive a car without the hassle of a down payment, insurance, or maintenance. The idea came from the founder and CEO himself after graduating at MIT and working in Silicon Valley for a year. The concept has worked in several states in The US and I some countries in Europe. They are currently looking to hire a Junior or Mid-level Full-Stack Engineer (React.js and Node.js), with exposure with serverless architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop elegant code that is reliable
• Write tests for the frontend and backend (Jest / Cypress / Storybook)
• Ensure proper documentation for the codebase
• Rewrite some slow 3rd party libraries with elegant code that works™
• Contribute to the open source projects of the company

Requirements They are looking for a dynamic, proactive, fast-learning developer with an obsession over beautiful code, well-designed architecture and thoroughly documented codebase.

• 2+ year experience working with Javascript/React/NodeJS.
• HTML and CSS are a must
• Able to write tests
• Able to write components with responsive design
• You have some fundamentals in MongoDB
• Added advantage if you have used TypeScript and worked with serverless architecture
