Job description

DCSAM (DeAngelo Contracting Services Asset Maintenance) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will perform scheduled and routine inspections, evaluate work quality, ensure compliance with contract requirements and company standards, and support the continuous improvement of operations and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project quality by implementing quality plans, conducting inspections and audits, and ensuring work meets contract requirements and customer expectations.
  • Monitor the performance of Roadway, Facilities, and subcontractor personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to established quality standards.
  • Oversee permitted and construction operations by participating in pre-work meetings, field inspections, progress meetings, and final acceptance inspections while ensuring compliance with approved plans and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate project records, tracking logs, inspection reports, and required documentation, ensuring timely submission of all project deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and operational performance while providing guidance and support to project teams and subcontractors.
  • Perform specialty inspections, inventory assessments, and other related quality assurance activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including operating a company-provided vehicle.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for a minimum of five (5) years.
  • Ability to comply with the Company's Drug and Alcohol Policy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work schedules, and operational demands.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 1 CTQP certification.
  • Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certification.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.

Pay Range: $18-25 hourly
