Job Description

As a Security Officer Site Access in Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment rooms, and other sensitive spaces.
• Support site operations by communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and/or first responders during routine activities, escalations, and after-hours situations.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
