Job Responsibilities
- Forecast and meet daily, monthly, and annual retail unit sales in new & used vehicle departments.
- Maximize profitability within sales department to ensure profit objectives are met on a monthly and annual basis.
- Determine supply needed for new and used vehicles and manage inventory accordingly.
- Review and monitor local market conditions, demographics, and sales history to create and implement short term and long-term advertising plans.
- Hire, train, supervise, and motivate sales team, build morale and coach when needed.
- Budget, manage, and monitor all department expenditures.
- Address and resolve customer complaints to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Lead by example by demonstrating family values, honesty, and delivering a superior customer experience, every time.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years experience as an Automotive General Sales Manager, preferred
- 5 years supervisory experience in an automotive dealership. required
- Proven ability to generate revenue and showroom traffic.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
