Job Responsibilities

  • Forecast and meet daily, monthly, and annual retail unit sales in new & used vehicle departments.
  • Maximize profitability within sales department to ensure profit objectives are met on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Determine supply needed for new and used vehicles and manage inventory accordingly.
  • Review and monitor local market conditions, demographics, and sales history to create and implement short term and long-term advertising plans.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and motivate sales team, build morale and coach when needed.
  • Budget, manage, and monitor all department expenditures.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating family values, honesty, and delivering a superior customer experience, every time.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as an Automotive General Sales Manager, preferred
  • 5 years supervisory experience in an automotive dealership. required
  • Proven ability to generate revenue and showroom traffic.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
