RPO - Industrial Engineering Officer
Job description
Role Purpose
This position to determine and implementation activities related to best practice, methods, equipment layouts in plant that determines the most efficient operations and work flow and recommends methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and also to conducting studies and checking data of each work station
Main Duties
- Provide and update Industrial Engineering data in manufacturing process
· Calculate cycle time process of each workstation,
· Calculate capacity of machine and HC requirements.
- Run Kaizen Activity program in manufacturing process:
· Setting kaizen activity,
· Guide for kaizen execution and
· To archive all project completed (documentation)
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyse work flow, work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as work order, production costs, process flow charts, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement to maximise productivity in all manufacturing areas.
- Conducting SOP and Working Instruction audit to ensure the SOP and WI are followed:
· Evaluate implementation and
· Evaluate if working standards is still proper for the latest condition
- Recommend revision to methods of operation, material handling, equipment layout, or other changes to increase production or improve standards.
- Prepare data, charts, graphs and diagram to illustrate workflow, routing, layout, material handling and machine utilization (VSM)
- Prepare and evaluate data and write reports
· Feasibility data, audit report, line patrol report.
· Work order, MLT
· Data IE need to analyze.
- Actively participate in all H&S and Environmental programs.
- Use appropriate PPE as designated area.
- Report any safety or environmental incidents, including accidents, near misses, unsafe actions, and unsafe conditions.
- Overseeing all activity within their team complies with the environmental policy and reviewing reports for further improvement.
Authorities
- Approve updates to IE data, workstation standards, and capacity reports.
- Validate SOP and WI audits and approve corrective actions.
- Authorize preparation and submission of IE reports and documentation.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor degree (formal education)
Skill: People Development method (training, performance management),
Experience: .
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing concept & implementation
- Experience in Industrial Engineering
- Experience in ISO9000:2008 as lead auditor
- Six Sigma belt holder (green or black)
