ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its neonatal, pediatric general and minimally invasive surgical services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Surgeon to join its growing clinical team. ROLE OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess and manage surgical conditions in neonates, infants, children and adolescents.
• Perform pediatric general, neonatal, minimally invasive and emergency procedures according to scope and privileges.
• Coordinate care with neonatology, pediatrics, ICU, anaesthesia, radiology and pediatric subspecialists.
• Provide family-centred counselling on diagnosis, surgical options, risks and recovery.
• Manage postoperative follow-up, complications, nutrition and developmental considerations.
• Maintain child-safe surgical governance, consent, documentation and UAE regulatory compliance.
