Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Respiratory Care Practitioner – 2 South ICU to join the exceptional team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, Washington . In this critical care role, you will provide advanced respiratory assessment, treatment, and life-support interventions for critically ill adult patients while working alongside physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary specialists in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit.

In addition to a competitive salary of $66,000 – $107,000 annually , eligible external candidates and rehires may qualify for a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 , making this an excellent opportunity to advance your career with one of the region's premier healthcare organizations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Completion of the required education or training necessary to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
• Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to provide respiratory care in a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit (ICU) environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or other critical care setting.
• Experience managing mechanically ventilated patients and advanced airway support.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience with ventilator management, arterial blood gas interpretation, and critical care respiratory protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and multidisciplinary patient care.
