Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Care Practitioner – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to join the renowned team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, Washington . In this specialized role, you will provide advanced respiratory care to critically ill infants and children, working alongside physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary specialists to deliver life-saving treatment in a high-acuity pediatric environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Completion of the required education or training necessary to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements.
  • Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), or other critical care environment.
  • Experience caring for pediatric patients requiring advanced respiratory support, including mechanical ventilation.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Experience with advanced respiratory therapy equipment and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
