IT Operations Engineer
Job description
IT Operations Engineer requires
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
- 2–3 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or network administration.
- Experience managing help desk operations.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server administration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting Windows environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to travel regularly between the Midway and Tazewell, TN facilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

DUTIES
- Provide Tier II/III technical support for end users and oversee daily help desk operations.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime across multiple locations.
- Support Windows server environments, Active Directory, network switches, routers, firewalls, and virtualization technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
- Perform system updates, backups, disaster recovery procedures, and routine maintenance.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to implement new technologies and improve IT operations.
- Maintain compliance with company security standards and best practices.
