The role is aligned with enterprise infrastructure architecture and platform architecture positions in complex, high-availability environments.

Location: Onsite – Rancho Santa Margarita, CA

  • Define and maintain future-state and target-state infrastructure architectures across on-premises systems, cloud platforms, networking, identity services, observability, resiliency, and foundational infrastructure.
  • Develop architecture standards, reference designs, and guardrails that reduce risk, improve consistency, and enable delivery teams to move efficiently.
  • Review infrastructure designs for alignment with availability, resiliency, security, scalability, operational readiness, and business objectives.
  • Architect systems with failure modes, high availability, disaster recovery, lifecycle management, and recovery requirements as core design considerations.
  • Lead architecture reviews and technical decision forums that guide cross-domain consistency, architectural integrity, and long-term platform direction.
  • Partner with reliability, operations, security, and service management teams to ensure infrastructure supports observability, incident response, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor engineering and platform teams through technical guidance, architecture standards, and trusted expertise.
  • Evaluate emerging infrastructure technologies with a focus on long-term value, operational maturity, risk reduction, cost effectiveness, and platform stability.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Infrastructure designs reduce unplanned downtime and improve system resilience.
  • Architecture standards are clear, trusted, and consistently adopted across teams.
  • Operational incidents result in fewer surprises and faster recovery.
  • Architecture decisions improve understanding of service ownership, dependencies, and lifecycle risk.
