Job description
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Governance ● Define and execute the global Salesforce roadmap aligned with enterprise business goals. ● Establish a robust governance framework (Change Management, Release Management, and Environment Strategy). ● Chair the Salesforce Steering Committee to prioritize backlogs and manage stakeholder expectations across regions. ● Collaborate with Salesforce and various stakeholders involved or leveraging the services Architecture & Innovation ● Oversee the technical and functional architecture of Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing Clouds, and integrations). ● Ensure scalable, secure, and well-documented customizations, minimizing technical debt. ● Evaluate and introduce emerging Salesforce features, AI capabilities, and third-party AppExchange solutions. Team Delivery & Operations ● Lead, mentor, and scale a centralized team of Salesforce administrators, developers, and analysts. ● Manage vendor relationships, system integrator (SI) partners, and Salesforce account teams. ● Define and track Operational KPIs (e.g., system uptime, user adoption rates, feature delivery velocity). Key Requirements & Qualifications ● Experience 20+ years in IT/Enterprise Applications, with 5+ years specifically leading a Salesforce CoE or large-scale global Salesforce implementation.
● Experience working in a matrix environment, ideally on the client side. ● Technical Skills Sound understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and the Platform. Understanding of Salesforce multi-org strategy, Lightning Web Components, Apex, MuleSoft (or other integration tools), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Copado, Gearset). ● Certifications Salesforce Certifications required ● Soft Skills Exceptional stakeholder management, cross-cultural collaboration, and agile delivery leadership.
