Social Media Marketing Intern
Location: Barangaroo, NSW 2000

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support content planning, copywriting, short-form video production, editing, and publishing across multiple social media platforms. You'll gain hands-on experience managing social media accounts, growing brand awareness, and increasing audience engagement through real-world marketing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with copywriting and content creation for social media posts.
- Support the planning, scripting, filming, editing, and production of short-form videos (typically 15–60 seconds).
- Publish and manage content across social media platforms while helping optimise content publishing workflows.
- Monitor and analyse content performance, including views, likes, shares, comments, and other engagement metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct competitor research and assist with content strategy and positioning.
- Support brand marketing initiatives, personal branding (IP) projects, and online promotional campaigns.
What We're Looking For
- A proactive attitude with strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms such as TikTok, Xiaohongshu (RED), Douyin, and other short-video platforms, with an understanding of content trends and platform algorithms.
- Proficiency in at least one video editing software, such as CapCut, Jianying (剪映), Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging captions, copy, and video titles.
- Excellent time management, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

- Original content such as videos, graphics, posters, or articles;
- Any other creative work that demonstrates your social media and content creation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Marketing, Media, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
- Experience managing personal or commercial social media accounts.
- Skills in video shooting, on-camera presentation, or post-production editing.
- Knowledge of the financial services or fintech industry is an advantage.
