Manager - Employee Experience
Job description
In this role, you will get to:
- Shape Workplace Culture: Offer support, boost engagement, and inspire positive attitudes; promote our Extra Mile and Platinum Awards programs.
- Take the Lead: Establish and execute HR strategies to address challenges with performance and employee retention and engagement; Recommend, introduce, interpret and clarify Human Resources procedures, controls, policies, and regulations.
- Keep Sutherland Aligned: Measure and monitor existing policies and procedures; Review and recommend action plans for compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to employment including compliance with equal employment opportunity legislation and programs to correct under-representation.
- Promote an Open-door Policy: Remain available to the team and encourage a collaborative environment; Provide direct HR support/guidance to business unit senior level line management.
- Strengthen Relationships: Create sustainable solutions to individual employee challenges. Conduct employee investigation as needed and in cooperation with field HR Directors and HR Legal as directed. Work with legal advisors providing professional input regarding legal aspects of HR.
Our most successful candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred
Experience working strategically and operationally with cross-functional organizational leaders to build consensus around HR strategy & initiative
Ability to work in MS Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner
Ability to present information clearly and in a compelling manner to Senior Management, Managers, and line employees
The pro-active approach in developing trust and professional rapport with employees and team members; able to be a team-player
