Distribution Associate - 1st shift INDUSTRIAL

Overview

Industrial is looking for a candidate to work in the Crystal Lake Facility Product Center. Must be willing to work as needed in any department. To load and unload trucks, put stock in storage. Pick and pack product. Physically count and verify stock. Hours 6:00am - 2:30pm. Must have Data Entry Experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and stores freight using electric and LP forklift trucks or hand pallet jacks
• Receives inventory by visually comparing stock and quantity against a receiving document
• Counts and verifies stock in picking and reserve locations
• Processes customer orders by picking stock
• Packing stock into shipping cartons
• Operates Hand Bander, Stretch Wrap Machine, computerized UPS machines, computer terminals, etc.
• Special labeling, auditing, and laser etching.
• Data Entry

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and do simple math
• Computer knowledge
• Working knowledge of the product center operations
• Knowledge of LN, ODS & WMS computer systems.
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Dependable & flexible
• Ability to lift 35 pounds
• Preferred experience in warehousing, material handling, shipping/receiving and forklift experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be forklift certified
