Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol and Access Control in Fredericksburg, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to all individuals at the food and beverage location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior and exterior areas, including operational spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor, vendor, and/or delivery access as directed by site procedures, and help to support orderly operations at the location.
• Communicate with staff, visitors, and/or drivers regarding site rules, restricted areas, and reporting procedures, and assist with incident response and follow-up as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
