The ideal candidate should have expertise in supplier development, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and vendor relationship management, along with the agility and ownership mindset required in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key role and responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across multiple consumer durable categories.
• Develop and maintain a strong supplier network to support business growth.
• Manage multiple vendors simultaneously while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Lead supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and cost validation to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
• Drive component and part development in collaboration with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.
• Build long-term vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance through regular reviews.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and supply chain efficiencies.
• Take ownership of sourcing projects with a proactive, execution-focused approach in a startup environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in vendor development and sourcing within the Consumer Durables industry.
• Proven experience in vendor development, costing, cost validation, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder coordination skills.
