Supervisor of Project Coordination, Landscape Architecture Program
Job description

Major Responsibilities
- Under general direction, with wide latitude for independent initiative and judgment, lead a team of administrative staff and assist the Chief of Landscape Architecture Program Management in the scheduling and fiscal oversight of the Capital landscape architecture program.
- Track project schedules from funding inception through design, procurement, construction and close-out. Advise the Chief of Landscape Program Management of any missed milestones for action.
- Diligently monitor Unifier for missed tasks and incomplete information and promptly notify team Directors and/or Team Leaders of deficiencies. Prepare Unifier reports as necessary.
- Ensure consistent reporting and processing of the Capital landscape architecture program, serve as liaison to Capital support units, other Parks units and external city, state and federal agencies.
- Present at Red Zone and other Commissioner-level meetings as needed, developing the presentations and critical statistics as needed.
- Assist with the implementation of Agency initiatives and programs. Ensure long-range and overall program goals are followed and implemented.
- Work closely with high-level staff to develop, manage and evaluate high-priority initiatives.
- Assist the Chief and Assistant Commissioner of Landscape Program Management with other tasks and projects as requested.

COMMUNITY COORDINATOR - 56058
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
- High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
