Job description
Responsibilities
· Inspect all incoming shipments to ensure the correct quantity and quality.
· Verify that goods correspond with the purchase order or requisition.
· Ensure that all items are free from damage and report any discrepancies to the relevant departments.
· Organize and maintain the storage areas in an orderly manner.
· Ensure proper handling and storage of items in line with safety and quality standards.
· Update inventory records in the system and keep track of stock levels.
· Ensure that all paperwork, such as purchase orders, delivery notes, and receipts, are completed accurately.
· Maintain clear records for auditing and reporting purposes.
· Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and other departments to ensure timely deliveries.
· Assist in the distribution of supplies to the respective departments.
· Ensure all items are stored in a safe manner, following health and safety regulations.
· Handle hazardous materials or perishable goods with care.
· Communicate any issues or delays in deliveries to the relevant parties.
· Work with the purchasing department to manage supply chain issues.
· Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management to support the effective operation of the department and the broader goals of the property.

Experience/Certificates/Education
· High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in warehouse management or supply chain management can be advantage.
· Prior experience in receiving, inventory control, or warehouse management is highly valued.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting and moving supplies.
· Knowledge of inventory systems and basic administrative skills.
· Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., warehouse, logistics, or stock management) is often preferred.
