Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in buildings.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Install conduits, cable trays, wiring, lighting fixtures, power outlets, and distribution panels.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis of electrical systems.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with site engineers and other trades to complete work efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of electrical installations.
- Report daily work progress and identify technical issues.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Technical Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation.
- Relevant electrical certification is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in building electrical works.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of electrical materials and installation methods.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
- Good knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Presentable appearance and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driving license is an advantage.
