Building Electrician Q3 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in buildings.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Install conduits, cable trays, wiring, lighting fixtures, power outlets, and distribution panels.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis of electrical systems.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with site engineers and other trades to complete work efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of electrical installations.
• Report daily work progress and identify technical issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation.
• Relevant electrical certification is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in building electrical works.

Skills & Requirements

• Strong knowledge of electrical materials and installation methods.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Presentable appearance and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driving license is an advantage.
