Shape the Future of Energy Through Strategic Leadership and Global Partnerships
ADNOC is seeking a highly accomplished Executive Advisor, Stakeholder Management to play a pivotal role in advancing the UAE's energy ambitions and driving value across one of the world's most significant upstream portfolios.
This is a unique opportunity for a senior upstream leader to operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, and stakeholder engagement, working directly with executive leadership, international energy partners, operating companies, and key government stakeholders. You will help shape production strategies, influence major development decisions, and ensure the successful delivery of ADNOC's production mandates and concession commitments.
The Opportunity
As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will provide strategic guidance on production, field development, drilling, and concession management while fostering strong partnerships across ADNOC's upstream ecosystem. Your expertise will directly contribute to maximizing asset value, enhancing production performance, and safeguarding ADNOC and UAE interests in a dynamic global energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level advisory support on upstream production, operations, drilling, and asset development strategies.
- Drive alignment between ADNOC, operating companies, shareholders, and strategic partners to ensure delivery of production mandates and concession obligations.
- Lead high-level stakeholder engagement with International Oil Companies (IOCs), National Oil Companies (NOCs), shareholders, and service providers.
- Champion initiatives that optimize production performance, support reservoir management objectives, and unlock sustainable growth opportunities.
- Participate in executive committees, governance forums, and technical review boards to support strategic decision-making.
- Support the development, review, and implementation of concession agreements, governance frameworks, and strategic initiatives.
- Safeguard ADNOC's and the UAE Government's interests during negotiations and engagements with international stakeholders.
- Drive effective collaboration across upstream functions to ensure alignment with ADNOC's long-term objectives.
Who We Are Looking For
A strategic and influential leader with a strong track record in upstream oil and gas, capable of navigating complex stakeholder environments and building trusted relationships at the highest organizational levels.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 15+ years of experience within the upstream oil and gas sector, including field development, drilling, production operations, asset management, or major capital projects.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with executive leadership, government entities, joint ventures, and international partners.
- Strong understanding of concession management, field development planning, reservoir management, and production optimization.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
