Forum Asset Management – Intern, Software Development (Fall 2026) 8 month OR 4 month

Work Schedule: Full-time, in-office (5 days/week) from September 2026

Position Overview
Forum Asset Management is looking for Software Developer Interns to help build data-driven applications that power decision-making across Forum’s investment and real estate platforms.
In this role, you’ll work on full-stack development projects that sit on top of our next-generation data platform. You’ll contribute to building internal tools, APIs, and user-facing applications that transform complex data into actionable insights.
This is a hands-on, in-office role where you’ll collaborate closely with data engineers, investment professionals, and business teams to deliver high-impact software solutions. This posting is for an existing vacancy at Forum.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal web applications and tools used across the business
- Build and integrate APIs that connect to data platforms and external systems
- Collaborate with data engineers to consume and utilize structured datasets
- Contribute to UI/UX improvements for internal dashboards and tools
- Assist in automating workflows and improving system efficiency
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Python or another programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Java)
- Basic understanding of APIs, web development, and software design principles
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with full-stack frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Interest in data-driven applications or analytics tools
