Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving large problems faced by them, at scale; having already enabled income uplift for 10000+ entrepreneurs.

About the Saksham Program: In today's rapidly changing world, success requires not only knowledge—typically acquired through formal education—but also the right mindset and skills, which are often not formally taught. These skills include self-awareness, communication, critical thinking, persistence, and more. Individuals who cultivate these mindsets tend to perform better both personally and professionally. The Saksham Program helps students learn important life skills like solving problems, working with others, communicating well, and thinking clearly. These are skills needed in everyday life and work. Through this program, students will run a small project, where they can learn by doing and get ready for their future.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a Field Coordinator for the Saksham Program in Maharashtra. The coordinator would work very closely with our stakeholders (Government official Seniors and Juniors, School Principals, Teachers and Udhyam team). The person would be responsible for good program implementation on ground for an assigned geographical area. The role involves a lot of field work (visiting schools and government offices) and focusing on reaching the goal.

By working with students and teachers, you will directly help improve the way young people learn important skills. This means you are contributing to their future success and creating positive change in the education system.

Roles and Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include visiting schools, helping teachers and principals improve the program, and making sure the program is running well. You will also collect information about the schools you work with and meet with government officials regularly to keep them updated.

This role requires traveling to different schools and government offices regularly. The work will involve visiting these places almost every day, observing classrooms, and speaking to teachers and school principals.

Monitoring program implementation status through data, field visits, phone calls and active whatsapp communication (one must be curious and know what is happening in each assigned school)

Sometimes, things may not go as planned. For example, schools might not have enough time to fully implement the program, or government offices may delay approvals. You should be comfortable with finding solutions in such situations.

Ensuring regular data collection for schools in your geography for reporting and documentation purposes. Data collection means gathering information from schools, like filling out forms or reports about how the program is running, talking to teachers and principals on the phone, and staying updated through WhatsApp.

Creating program reports to share internally and with government officials (writing official letters to share with senior government officials)

You will also be meeting with government officers regularly. This means visiting their offices, discussing the program’s progress, and making sure they are happy with the work being done in schools.

Assisting or conducting online and offline trainings when required along with Udhyam team

Participating in online organizational meetings and events

Skills, Experience and Mindsets

A Bachelor’s degree in any field

Work experience in the social sector/ NGOs/ Government project is preferable

Experience of working with schools and teachers in any capacity is an added benefit

Working knowledge of Gmail, Excel, PPT and Google Docs

Multitasking skills

Comfort and efficiency of communication for interacting with government teachers and principals

Spoken and read Marathi proficiency is a must. Working knowledge of English is good to have.

Openness to uncertainties and challenges which may arise during the project implementation

The role requires travel primarily across the assigned district, and elsewhere within Maharashtra

Commitment : 6 Months initially (It will be extended based on the govt. Approvals and performance)

आमचे कार्यक्रम: उद्यम शिक्षा हा कार्यक्रम तरुणांमध्ये उद्यमशील विचारसरणी विकसित करण्याचे काम करतो आणि त्यांना त्यांची पूर्ण क्षमता गाठण्यास मदत करतो. आतापर्यंत भारतातील १२ राज्यांमध्ये सुमारे ४०,००,००० विद्यार्थ्यांपर्यंत हा कार्यक्रम पोहोचला आहे. उद्यम व्यापार हा कार्यक्रम भारतातील छोट्या (नॅनो) व्यवसायांसाठी काम करतो आणि त्यांच्या मोठ्या समस्या मोठ्या प्रमाणावर सोडवतो. यामुळे १०,०००हून अधिक उद्योजकांच्या उत्पन्नात २७% पर्यंत वाढ झाली आहे. उद्यमचे ध्येय आहे की असे एक परिसंस्था (इकोसिस्टम) तयार करणे, जिथे प्रत्येक व्यक्तीला आपला स्वतःचा मार्ग निवडण्याचे बळ मिळेल.

सक्षम कार्यक्रमाबद्दल: आजच्या वेगाने बदलणाऱ्या जगात यशस्वी होण्यासाठी फक्त शालेय शिक्षणातून मिळणारे ज्ञानच पुरेसे नसते, तर योग्य विचारसरणी आणि कौशल्येही आवश्यक असतात, जी सहसा शाळेत शिकवली जात नाहीत. यामध्ये स्वतःची ओळख असणे, चांगले संवाद साधणे, विचारपूर्वक निर्णय घेणे, चिकाटी ठेवणे यांसारख्या गोष्टींचा समावेश होतो. ज्या व्यक्तींमध्ये या गोष्टी असतात, त्या व्यक्तिगत आणि व्यावसायिक आयुष्यातही चांगली प्रगती करतात. सक्षम कार्यक्रम विद्यार्थ्यांना समस्या सोडवणे, इतरांसोबत काम करणे, चांगले बोलणे आणि स्पष्ट विचार करणे यांसारखी महत्त्वाची जीवन-कौशल्ये शिकवतो. ही कौशल्ये रोजच्या आयुष्यात आणि कामाच्या ठिकाणी उपयोगी पडतात. या कार्यक्रमाद्वारे विद्यार्थी स्वतः एक छोटा प्रकल्प (प्रोजेक्ट) राबवतात, त्यातून प्रत्यक्ष अनुभवाने शिकतात आणि भविष्यासाठी तयार होतात.

आम्ही कोणाच्या शोधात आहोत: आम्हाला महाराष्ट्रातील सक्षम कार्यक्रमासाठी एक फील्ड कोऑर्डिनेटर हवा आहे. ही व्यक्ती सरकारी वरिष्ठ आणि कनिष्ठ अधिकारी, शाळेचे मुख्याध्यापक, शिक्षक आणि उद्यमची टीम यांच्यासोबत जवळून काम करेल. नेमून दिलेल्या भौगोलिक भागात कार्यक्रम चांगल्या प्रकारे राबवण्याची जबाबदारी या व्यक्तीवर असेल. या कामात भरपूर फिल्ड वर्क (शाळा आणि सरकारी कार्यालयांना भेटी) असेल आणि ध्येय गाठण्यावर भर द्यावा लागेल.

भूमिका आणि जबाबदाऱ्या: तुमच्या मुख्य जबाबदाऱ्यांमध्ये शाळांना भेटी देणे, शिक्षक व मुख्याध्यापकांना कार्यक्रम अधिक चांगला करण्यासाठी मदत करणे आणि कार्यक्रम व्यवस्थित चालतो आहे याची खात्री करणे यांचा समावेश आहे. तुम्ही ज्या शाळांसोबत काम कराल त्यांची माहितीही गोळा कराल आणि सरकारी अधिकाऱ्यांना नियमितपणे भेटून त्यांना अद्ययावत माहिती द्याल.

या कामासाठी वेगवेगळ्या शाळा आणि सरकारी कार्यालयांना नियमित प्रवास करावा लागेल. जवळपास रोजच या ठिकाणी भेट द्यावी लागेल, वर्गात जाऊन निरीक्षण करावे लागेल आणि शिक्षक व मुख्याध्यापकांशी बोलावे लागेल.

माहिती, फिल्ड भेटी, फोन कॉल्स आणि व्हॉट्सअॅपद्वारे कार्यक्रम कसा राबवला जातो आहे यावर लक्ष ठेवणे (प्रत्येक शाळेत काय चालू आहे हे जाणून घेण्याची उत्सुकता असणे आवश्यक आहे)

कधी कधी गोष्टी योजनेप्रमाणे होत नाहीत. उदाहरणार्थ, शाळांना कार्यक्रम पूर्णपणे राबवायला वेळ मिळत नाही, किंवा सरकारी कार्यालयांकडून मंजुरी मिळण्यास उशीर होतो. अशा परिस्थितीत उपाय शोधण्याची तयारी असावी.

अहवाल आणि दस्तऐवजीकरणासाठी आपल्या भागातील शाळांकडून नियमित माहिती गोळा करणे. यामध्ये शाळांकडून फॉर्म भरून घेणे, अहवाल तयार करणे, शिक्षक व मुख्याध्यापकांशी फोनवर बोलणे आणि व्हॉट्सअॅपद्वारे संपर्कात राहणे यांचा समावेश आहे.

कार्यक्रमाचे अहवाल तयार करणे, जे उद्यम टीम आणि सरकारी अधिकाऱ्यांसोबत शेअर केले जातील (वरिष्ठ सरकारी अधिकाऱ्यांना पाठवण्यासाठी अधिकृत पत्रे लिहिणे)

सरकारी अधिकाऱ्यांसोबत नियमित भेटी घेणे. म्हणजे त्यांच्या कार्यालयात जाऊन कार्यक्रमाच्या प्रगतीबद्दल चर्चा करणे आणि शाळांमध्ये होणाऱ्या कामाबद्दल ते समाधानी आहेत याची खात्री करणे.

गरज पडल्यास उद्यम टीमसोबत ऑनलाइन आणि ऑफलाइन प्रशिक्षणांमध्ये मदत करणे किंवा ती स्वतः घेणे
