Key Account Manager

Job Profile

The Key Account Manager is responsible for coordinating end-to-end shipment execution for assigned key accounts by acting as the primary interface between customers, operations, support teams, and service providers. The role ensures timely planning, accurate documentation, proactive communication, and seamless delivery while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Essential Job Functions

• Manage day-to-day operations for assigned key accounts and ensure smooth execution of shipments.
• Maintain and validate the SAT Sheet for new shipments in accordance with client/Crane processes.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with Operations and allocate tasks to the execution team.
• Liaise with Operations to arrange vehicles, crew members, and delivery resources.
• Coordinate with client, transporters, and internal teams for delivery challans, pickup intimation, and E-Way Bill (Part A & B) preparation.
• Share shipment updates, H x H reports, and access lists within the required timelines.
• Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve operational issues to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track system jobs, GPS inventory, and operational tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain regular communication with customers and internal stakeholders, providing timely status updates and ensuring service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company processes, customer requirements, and operational SOPs while maintaining accurate shipment records.

Qualification and Experience

• Graduate in any discipline; Logistics or Supply Chain qualification preferred.
• 3-6 years of experience within the logistics/freight forwarding industry.
