Description
Job title: Structural Welder
Reports to: Production Superintendent

Job Overview:
As a Structural Welder, you will be responsible for welding steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel materials using SMAW, GTAW, and/or GMAW processes in various positions. You will also take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Perform work safely while meeting quality standards.
• Set up welding machines based on job specifications or Welding Procedure Specifications.
• Utilize your own basic skill-related tools and equipment as needed.
• Execute welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components according to required processes and parameters.
• Adhere strictly to welding procedure specifications.
• Prepare welding cells for serial production runs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care for all equipment.
• Follow all company policies and safety regulations.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail in executing tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Assist with product preparation for shipment.
• Report any unsafe work conditions or practices to your supervisor.
• Lift raw materials, final products, and shipping items (up to 60 pounds) either manually or using a hoist.

Qualifications:
• 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Experience working with steel, aluminum, and/or stainless steel required.
• Familiarity with SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding highly preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Willingness to learn and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of welding equipment and related tools, including setup and use.
• Ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules and quality manuals.
• Familiarity with the metric system is a plus.
• Capability to stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work 40+ hours per week.
• Must pass substance abuse testing.
