Job Title: Electrical Engineer III

Positions: 2 openings

Location

• Fully Remote (out of state) – accepted
• If local to Michigan: Hybrid (Onsite M, T, Th in Jackson, MI)
• Per diem: $550 weekly for non-local candidates willing to relocate

Team / Department

Development & Engineering of new solar, wind, battery storage, and natural gas generation assets.

Both openings will work as discipline engineers supporting a Lead Project Engineer across multiple projects.

Natural Gas Generation Focus

Looking for an engineer with strong control systems background:

Required Experience

• SCADA
• DCS
• Power Plant Controller (PPC) systems
• Experience developing technical specifications, reviewing EPC contractor specs, and providing expert-level comments
• Understanding of natural gas power plant operations and controls

Gas Systems / SCADA & I&C Focus

More controls and instrumentation-heavy role

Required Experience

• SCADA (Natural Gas SCADA strongly preferred)
• I&C (Instrumentation & Controls)
• PCS (Process Control Systems)
• Power engineering background helpful
• Basic substation experience preferred
• Experience reviewing, developing, and writing comments on power plant controller data systems

Education Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (ABET-accredited) — mandatory
