Job description

As we propel our IT services forward to better serve our team members, we're in search of an exceptional Workplace Engineer to join our team in Amersfoort. With over 60 dedicated IT professionals, we're committed to enhancing our business model through vertical integration. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure the consistent delivery of vital services, including hardware and software management, issue resolution, and proactive measures to elevate the user experience. As a workplace Engineer, you will be an integral part of the ATS-Modern Endpoint Management team, contributing to daily operations aimed at maintaining and standardizing end-user IT services. Collaborating closely with both local and international IT teams, you will assist the Modern Endpoint Team in ensuring the smooth delivery of essential services, such as hardware and software management, issue resolution, and the implementation of proactive measures to enhance user satisfaction. This position has the internal title of Modern Endpoint Engineer. Key responsibilities Endpoint Support and Configuration Resolve advanced technical issues Manage the provisioning and maintenance of end-user assets, ensuring a standardized and efficient endpoint environment Undertake proactive IT maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability of endpoints Lead improvements in endpoint management, ensuring a seamless lifecycle for operating systems, software, and telephony optimizing hardware configurations, and ensuring compatibility Create, organize, and keep forms and administrative records efficiently Produce comprehensive technical and end-user support documentation to ease effective knowledge sharing Defining project scope, goals, timelines, resources, and deliverables Actively contribute to one or more phases of the project Complete individual deliverables within the project Manage implementation of improvement in processes, procedures and/or systems What you bring A finished Bachelor\HBO education within the IT environment 2+ years of progressive experience in a similar job role Excellent communication skills in English Proficient in deploying software using tools such as MDT, SCCM, or equivalent deployment platforms Demonstrated expertise in packaging and deploying applications Proficient in scripting, adapting, and optimizing for evolving needs, with expertise in scripting languages such as PowerShell Exceptional troubleshooting skills for Windows OS and Apple OS (iOS) systems Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and MS Endpoint Manager Comprehensive grasp of Microsoft 365, including its diverse applications and services What we offer € 3.800,- to € 4.600,- gross per month based on 40 hours per week depending on experience and qualifications An international working environment, fueled by respect and a healthy work-life balance tailored to the business and team member’s needs 27 paid vacation days (based on fulltime contract) with option to purchase five additional days This is mainly an on-site role with hybrid options Commuting allowance of €0,23/km or full coverage of public transportation costs A wide variety of internal trainings and development possibilities and a tuition program for external trainings The opportunity to pro-actively work on your vitality and fitness State-of-the-art facilities, including green areas, in-house restaurant and gym Additional benefits, such as: Attractive pension scheme (your contribution at 4%, ours at 12%) €50 net monthly health insurance contribution Two (paid) days per year dedicated to volunteering activities Several fun company events and meaningful initiatives organized throughout the year At Applied Medical, we are committed to make a meaningful, positive difference, each and every day.
