Job description
Act as an Advisor by providing expert input to ensure consistently high standards of service delivery aligned to what matters most to clients, particularly in complex and high‑value relationships. Provide first‑line risk, control, and governance assurance through deep technical understanding of policies, procedures, and client engagement processes, ensuring they are adhered to, reviewed, and refined where required to remain effective and relevant. Contribute specialist insight into client lifecycle management, regulatory adherence, and control effectiveness, working closely with Risk, Compliance, Private Banking, and business stakeholders to support robust first‑line defence outcomes and provide leadership with clear, reliable assurance on control health and client management practices.
- Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Investments, Business, Finance, Economics
- MBA in finance, investments will be advantageous
- CFA will be advantageous
- CFP will be advantageous
Experience:
- 5-7 years: Understanding of the Wealth and Investment market customer profile and lifestyle.
- Sound knowledge of the full product spectrum as relevant to the Wealth and Investment market, including qualification criteria, features, benefits, pricing, product combination possibilities for optimum use and relationship to other more specialised products.
Key Impact Areas:
Act as a specialist advisor to very high‑net‑worth clients, dealing with complex personal and corporate wealth structures with a strong emphasis on capital preservation, stability, and long‑term value creation.
Build and sustain long‑term trust‑based relationships with wealthy and offshore clients by developing a deep understanding of their objectives, values, risk appetite, and jurisdictional sensitivities.
Demonstrate strong commercial judgement when advising on client solutions, balancing growth opportunities with risk management, governance requirements, and regulatory constraints.
Apply a sound understanding of fundamental tax principles and their practical implications on wealth structuring, investment choices, and offshore arrangements, while ensuring appropriate referral to qualified tax specialists where required.
Remain informed on industry‑specific disruptions, geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, and market developments, and assess their potential impact on client portfolios, structures, and risk exposure.
