Job description
This position is responsible for creating artwork files that are production ready and will generate a preview of the personalisation on the product for the customer.
- Communicate with commercial and production teams to understand deadlines, priorities and new product requirements.
- Work within our personalisation software to generate ‘print ready’ artwork to the suppliers and production team.
- Understand the possibilities of personalisation techniques and apply this to the artwork.
- Alongside creating print ready files, generate the customer preview for the personalisation on the product to ensure the best customer experience and convert views into orders.
- Photoshop images where necessary or request an additional image from studio if required.
- Work with e-commerce and development teams where required to ensure product personalisation is shown correctly on the websites.
- Ensure all the set up for the artwork files is correct so that the production and sales flow is accurate
- Assist in creating print on demand designs for our blanks.
- Actively participate in strategy, ideas and concepts for personalised products.
- Create Jig templates when required using data provided by product team on new launches and sales data and from requests from Production team.
- Support in the sampling process to ensure correct process is chosen to suit artwork and product and that the finished product will delight the customer
- Support in production issues where product image or artwork needs to be amended.
- Must be collaborative and able to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in both a small team environment and use initiative to work independently.
- Comfortable communicating at all levels and working with different business functions.
- Possess creative experience with an eye for detail.
- Organised and methodical.
- Print or personalised product experience would be ideal.
- Experience with Graphic Design (Adobe suite) is needed as our personalisation software is based on similar functions.
- Experience of photoshopping images as this may be needed occasionally.
