Job description
We currently have a vacancy for an Application Cloud Architect (Java) fluent in English and French, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site and off site. Your tasks Review of the existing Information Systems Architecture; Analyze, Map and Document the existing Information Systems Architecture; Produce architectural diagrams and blueprints of the existing Information Systems Architecture; Be the technical interface between the project leaders, the developers, and the management; Assist during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting; Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.
University Degree in IT or related field, combined with professional experience of minimum 13 years; Excellent knowledge in Java/J2EE & AWS; Working experience in Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL), MongoDB and its cloud platform Atlas; Knowledge of tools such as CDI, JPA, Reflection and Spring (MVC, Container, Scheduler or QUARTZ Scheduler); Good knowledge of JSON/XML, CloudFront and Route53 for CDN configuration; Knowledge of cloud services and ability to integrate them; Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as a code (IaC) tools (CloudFormation or Terraform); Experience in API Gateways, Management of custom APIs and CodePipeline for CI/CD; Knowledge of EC2, Elastic Load Balancer, VPCs and Elastic Beanstalk for infrastructure configuration; Strong experience in SQS and SNS for queuing system and messaging; Knowledge of WAF and Advanced Shield for better security configuration; Experience in CloudWatch, CloudTrail and X-ray for troubleshooting and monitoring; Excellent command of the English and French language.
