Job description
- You will work in the dynamic, future-driven field of e-mobility, tackling challenging technical solutions with a high degree of innovation in a fast-paced, cost- and time-sensitive environment. As co-leader of a large power electronics project, you will maintain direct engagement with JOEM customers and drive strategic project outcomes
You are accountable for delivering customer targets and ensuring project success - on time, on cost, schedule, and within budget. This includes managing technical coordination, facilitating critical discussions with customers regarding requirements and results, and resolving complex technical issues - You drive project goals with a high degree of autonomy, developing innovative solutions and implementing measures that ensure product profitability while enabling your team to deliver with efficiency and excellence
- You serve as the central communication hub for a multicultural, cross-functional project team in a global environment. You lead an international project spanning Japan, Germany, Austria, India, and Hungary, fostering collaboration across all organizational levels and geographies
- You inspire and lead your team with passion, strategic vision, and decisive action—building strong connections across all management levels—to deliver market-leading power electronics products and accelerate Bosch's growth in the rapidly expanding electrification market
Required Experience, Skills & Background:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in the automotive industry, with demonstrated expertise in technical (project) management
- Advanced presentation and negotiation capabilities, with proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving acumen, with a track record of resolving complex technical and organizational challenges
- The ability to identify issues and risks in a project and manage them appropriately
- business-level fluency in Japanese and English with demonstrated capability in technical and cross-cultural communication
Preferred Experience, Skills & Background:
- Substantive experience in global development and commercialization of automotive power electronics components or vehicle systems
- Proven track record as a Project Manager or Project Leader managing large-scale, multi-functional initiatives in international environments
- PMP certification
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across geographically dispersed locations and diverse cultural contexts
