Job description
This role focuses on delivering sophisticated accounting services for complex private wealth portfolios. The successful candidate will execute advanced accounting tasks while maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and technical expertise.
What you will do:
- Execute sophisticated accounting functions including periodic bookkeeping, reconciliations, and preparation of complex financial statements with comprehensive disclosures for private wealth clients
- Ensure full accounting and regulatory compliance by monitoring reporting deadlines, managing compliance requirements, and independently resolving audit queries and reviewer comments
- Handle moderate to high complexity accounting matters, including computation of complex tax and VAT requirements, and prepare sophisticated client deliverables tailored to individual portfolio needs
- Drive quality standards across all deliverables by reviewing working papers and schedules, maintaining technical accuracy, and developing specialised expertise in private wealth accounting services
- Escalate complex technical matters appropriately to senior team members and perform other related duties as assigned to support role and business requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field or ACCA Level 2 or ACA Professional Experience: At least 4 years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in fund accountingy
