Job description

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Operational

  • Develop product roadmap strategy through market research, customer and industry insights, competition benchmarking and Region guidance.
  • Execute product roadmap strategy -through collaboration with R&D, Technical, Operations, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Lead forecast accuracy target achievement -through collaboration with Sales, Operations, Procurement and other involved teams
  • Manage assigned Leads from qualification to endorsement to Sales.
  • Create product content and literature (printed and digital tools and assets) for Sales and Marketing purposes -through collaboration with Creatives.
  • Train and develop Sales and Marketing personnel’s product knowledge, so they become extension of TM on the field.

Financial

  • Achieve TM’s target sales and material margin
  • Manage inventory and write-offs

Administrative

  • Support cyclical price setting actions
  • Manage product permits, tests and certificates, data sheets, packaging, and other related documentations.
  • Manage Product Creation Process (PCP) -ensuring SIP, PDS2PIM, SAP, and other related tools are updated.
  • Provide technical support for customers and Sika internal teams.
  • Perform other product-related functions as may be assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or any related field.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in product and/or marketing management, preferably in any of the following sectors: construction materials, chemicals, building components, mechanical or electrical devices/equipment.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching new products and/or services to market.
  • Experience in sales and/or multinational organization is an advantage

Skills

  • Researching skills, data-driven analyzing capabilities, and product roadmap strategy ideation.
  • Skilled in product lifecycle management (from launch to termination), product content and literature creation, pricing, demand forecasting and leads qualification.
  • Working knowledge of P&L Management and route-to-markets (Projects and Retail).
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in product marketing IT tools (i.e. SAP, Salesforce, Product DMS, others)
