Provides leadership and technical advice on multiple payroll and logistics systems to resolve problems. Establishes and maintains a positive image with clients and service providers. Responsibilities Supervises and schedules staff; assigns, directs, and checks the work of assigned personnel to ensure timely and accurate work and quality client service. Provides technical expertise on multiple internal and external logistics systems and processes. Collaborates with regional and corporate personnel to identify and resolve system problems. Assists the Logistics Manager with development of departmental goals and improvement strategies to archive Logistics objectives. Supervises training of personnel; recommends, implements, and monitors on-the-job training and education to further professional advancement of assigned personnel. Makes hiring recommendations and evaluates performance; recommends merit increases, promotion or termination, and disciplinary action to maximize team/logistics performance. Monitors date integrity and specialist’s workload to ensure timely package delivery. Acts in place of Logistics Manager in their absence to ensure continuity of logistics operations and to further develop their management skills. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications H.S.
