Job description

The Senior Project Manager - Project Lead will act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that our client objectives are not only met, but exceeded wherever possible and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate high level of quality, sustainability, and safety standards.  

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team and drive performance through design development, permitting and approvals, procurement and ultimately construction.  

Key Attributes and Duties:   

The individual in this role should have both a strong pre contract and post contract, full life cycle delivery background. You will show excellent management and interpersonal skills, have an engaging approach and possess a very strong core technical skillset with an understanding of construction, an appreciation of commercial and have contractual awareness. 

 As the Senior Project Manager -Project Lead you will oversee, manage and lead a team providing the following services: 

  • Overall Project Management 
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Project Controls
  • Preconstruction Activities
  • Environmental, Health & Safety Activities
  • Construction Management
  • Quality Management
  • Commercial Management
  • Claims Management
  • Procurement
  • Project Execution Support
  • Project Close-out
  • Warranty Management 
  • Team Leadership

 

  • Extensive experience delivering major projects and programmes 
  • Data Centre experience preferred
  • Experience to include SPM -Project Lead within a PMC, EPCM, Construction Management Environment or as a General Contractor
  • Experienced with requirements of Quality, Health & Safety on a construction site
  • Understanding of project controls methodology, able to develop and manage a construction schedule/ programme and direct others in the use of various software
  • Independent  
  • Proactive, meticulous, self-motivated and hands-on team player 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential, ability to communicate well with clients and senior management 
  • Mandatory English
