Job Overview Ebenezer is looking for a Front Desk Attendant to join our team at Tower Apartments in Minneapolis, MN! This position will be serving as an ambassador of the community during non-business hours, the front desk attendant provides building oversite and a customer experience that will always be remembered with the highest level of responsiveness. This front desk schedule includes; 80 hours every two weeks Full time, Evening/Overnight (NOC) shift; Monday - Friday: 4 PM - 12AM No weekends Responsibilities: Provides responsive customer service to all customers. Acknowledge and greet all residents, guests, staff, volunteers and vendors with utmost courtesy and urgency, opening doors and providing assistance where appropriate and possible. Assure prompt and positive action on all resident service opportunities including requests, complaints, questions, concerns and suggestions. Attempt to resolve them and/or elevate to the appropriate building staff per building policy. Follow-up with clients to assure successful completion. Serve as information liaison to building management and maintenance team. Serve as host for building activities, events and functions as necessary, including set-up and clean-up. Provide safe exit and entry to building during non-business hours by monitoring building entry system, maintaining guestbook and addressing outdoor hazards (such as snow removal from sidewalks/entrance) as necessary. Assist with new move-ins and move-outs that occur during non-business hours, as necessary. Maintain a consistent presence at the front desk. Functions as building office assistant during non-business hours. Answer the telephone, using professional telephone etiquette, taking accurate messages and ensuring their delivery. Maintain workspace in a clean and orderly fashion to create the best “first impression” to customers. Provide administrative assistance for employment and rental applicants (if applicable to building/Community) Monitor security cameras for the building as appropriate Record work order requests. Conduct filing, copying, and collating as needed for office staff. Provide business office services to residents including copying and faxing as needed. Maintain building communication log/book. Responds to medical, fire, maintenance, and security emergencies when they occur in the building. Contact appropriate staff or professional emergency personnel (on-call maintenance, security, paramedics, fire and/or police) per building procedures. Provide appropriate information and assistance to emergency personnel per building procedures. Complete required building reports including, but not limited to, social work referrals (if applicable to building/community), incident reports and daily log/communication book entries per building policy. Clearly communicate issues and outcomes to building manger, supervisor and following shift. Provide various maintenance, housekeeping, culinary and safety duties. Keep lobby/common spaces and entry neat and clean and welcoming to residents and visitors. Conduct rounds of building per building policy, checking for maintenance, social and security concerns. Secure exits and common area doors per building policy. Maintain clean public restrooms. Check trash receptacles and empty as needed in common areas of the building. Maintain aviary and aquarium per building policy, including cleaning and feeding (if applicable to building) Empty trash dumpsters per building policy. Clear snow and apply ice melt as necessary. Unclog resident sinks and toilets, change light bulbs and smoke detector batteries as necessary.
