About the Role We’re hiring an Automotive Technician to support fleet maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and vehicle readiness in Sunnyvale. In this role, you’ll help keep vehicles operational by performing routine service, assisting with repairs, and supporting day-to-day shop and fleet activities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with technicians, engineering teams, and operations staff to help resolve vehicle issues efficiently and safely. This is a strong fit for someone with solid foundational automotive experience, strong attention to detail, and an interest in learning new vehicle technologies and systems. Shop Ownership: You help maintain an organized workspace and support inventory, tools, and day-to-day shop readiness. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repair activities. Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical vehicle issues using standard diagnostic tools and repair procedures. Support fleet readiness by assisting with vehicle servicing, testing, and quality checks. Perform part replacements, preventative maintenance, and general repair work. Assist with documenting repair procedures, service records, and inspection findings. Work closely with senior technicians and cross-functional teams to resolve vehicle issues efficiently and safely. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment. Assist with parts inventory, tool organization, and shop operations as needed. Help support day-to-day fleet maintenance from a strictly automotive perspective. Qualifications for Success Minimum Requirements: General automotive service and maintenance experience. Ability to perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repair activities. Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical vehicle issues. Experience using standard automotive diagnostic tools and repair procedures. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting fleet maintenance operations. Experience documenting repair procedures, service records, and inspection findings. Familiarity with preventative maintenance and quality check processes. AV experience is a plus, but not required. Interest in learning new vehicle technologies and systems.
