Job description

About the team

The Ecosystem Foundations team is building the platform layer that unifies Zillow’s industry software products into a seamless experience for real estate professionals. We’re evolving a portfolio of market-leading products into an interoperable ecosystem that supports brokers, agents, enterprise customers, and emerging AI-powered workflows.
Our team owns the core services that enable products across Zillow to work together at scale, including identity, integrations, shared services, and cross-product infrastructure. We provide the foundation that allows teams to move independently while enabling consistent experiences, secure data exchange, and extensibility across the ecosystem. We partner closely with engineering, design, research, and business teams to define how Zillow’s software platform evolves for customers, third-party developers, and future AI-native experiences.

About the role

As the Principal Product Manager for APIs & Integration Platform, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for how Zillow’s industry software evolves into a scalable platform that customers, partners, developers, and AI-powered experiences can build on. You will partner across engineering, design, sales, business development, and product leadership to transform internal capabilities into external platform offerings and deliver measurable customer and business impact.

You Will Get To

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for Zillow Workspace’s API and integration platform, including APIs, webhooks, event infrastructure, and connector frameworks.

  • Turn internal capabilities into scalable platform offerings for customers, partners, developers, and AI powered workflows.

  • Lead enterprise onboarding capabilities, including roster ingestion, identity and access provisioning, and bulk data workflows.

  • Shape the API platform’s long-term commercialization strategy, including packaging, pricing, tiering, and go-to-market plans in partnership with Sales and Business Development.

  • Define how Zillow scales third-party connectors through in-house, partner-built, and marketplace approaches.

  • Establish the operating model for platform product management, including lifecycle governance, contract review, deprecation policy, support, and analytics.

  • Set the vision for secure, extensible AI-powered experiences on Workspace.

  • Influence and mentor PMs across the organization while representing the platform with enterprise customers and partners.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $169,300.00 - $270,500.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

  • 8+ years of product management or equivalent experience, with a focus on platforms, APIs, data systems, or complex integrations, and a track record of building scalable enterprise products.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver technical or infrastructure-driven initiatives that support customer-facing outcomes.

  • A strong systems thinker who can simplify complex workflows and navigate technical tradeoffs with engineering partners.

  • Analytical and curious, with the ability to use data to form hypotheses, prioritize effectively, and make informed decisions.

  • An excellent communicator who can create clear documentation, strategy briefs, and stakeholder updates, and represent a platform vision with senior leaders, customers, and partners.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with high autonomy and accountability.

  • Experience with identity and access management and/or agent-facing or AI integration platforms is a plus.

  • Here at Zillow, we value the experience and perspective of candidates with non-traditional backgrounds. We encourage you to apply if you have transferable skills or related experiences.
