Job description
We are on the lookout for a passionate People and Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team in Hong Kong. This role is a cornerstone of our HR functions, working under the leadership of the Head of HR, Asia (HK based) and with close coordination with Regional Talent Acquisition team you will be pivotal in shaping our workplace culture, leading and managing a variety of HR tasks, projects and Talent Acquisition for the regional studios. This role requires autonomy, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will be a proactive person who is passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
People & HR Support
- Serve as a partner and advisor to the management team around all HR/people related issues and take ownership for shaping and building a high-impact people, talent, and culture function to support organizational goals and contribute to positive employee engagement and success.
- Ensure day-to-day people operations that support the entire employee lifecycle including onboarding, benefits, leave and payroll management, talent acquisition, performance management, learning, employee engagement, and retention.
- Work with the HR Shared Service team on the organization’s compensation and total rewards program including related policies, procedures, and reporting requirements. Ensure that these programs are aligned with the organization’s goals, budget considerations, market competition, and employee priorities.
- Oversee and manage a robust Performance Management system. Ensure alignment with learning and employee development frameworks including individual employee development plans, career pathways, tracking learning and performance goals, and succession planning.
- Champion culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Ensure that all employment policies and practices are updated with current best practices. Collaborate with outside counsel as needed to maintain compliance with all applicable local employment laws and regulations.
- Serve as the escalation point for proactively, empathetically, and confidentially addressing all critical employee relations issues. Develop strategies and interventions to address them including guiding and coaching managers and employees.
- Oversee HR projects, ensuring local compliance with regional specific legislation.
- Maintain HR metrics and prepare HR-related reports and presentations for management as needed.
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the recruitment and talent acquisition process to ensure the timely filing of key organizational roles with high-quality talent.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition Manager in the region.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department leaders to determine current and future staffing needs.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, employee referrals, etc.).
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
- Conduct initial candidate assessments and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill roles
- Bachelor’s degree required and HRM certification preferred.
- Proven experience in Human Resources Management
- Experience in architecture, engineering, or related fields would be highly beneficial.
- Proven experience in talent acquisitions and recruitment
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases.
- Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.
- Significant and deep knowledge across the areas of talent acquisition, talent management, performance and learning, total rewards including compensation and benefits, employee engagement, DE&I initiatives, and HR technologies.
- Strong understanding of employment law, government compliance regulations, and best practices in HR/People operations.
- Hands-on with HRIS systems is an advantage, especially Oracle
- Familiarity with architectural roles, portfolios, and industry-specific skills is an advantage.
