Job description
Reporting to the BIM Director, the BIM Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing BIM processes across projects.
The role is responsible for implementing the firm’s BIM vision, coordinates deliverables, supports BIM coordinators, and ensures the application of standards and best practices. The incumbent also contributes to the development and evolution of BIM processes in a multidisciplinary environment.
What you will accomplish with us
Project contribution
- Plan and structure BIM project start-up.
- Develop and implement the BIM Management Plan (BMP) and delivery strategies.
- Set up models, work environments, and BIM processes.
- Manage collaborative platforms (ACC / CDE).
- Ensure interdisciplinary coordination and track deliverables.
- Supervise and support BIM coordinators.
- Provide technical expertise and resolve complex issues.
- Ensure model quality and compliance (QA/QC).
Firm contribution
- Contribute to BIM strategies and objectives.
- Support the development and improvement of standards and processes.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert.
- Train and mentor BIM coordinators.
- Promote innovation and best practices.
- Degree in architecture, architectural technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in architecture.
- Minimum 5 years of BIM management experience on complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of BIM processes and tools (Revit, ACC, Autodesk ecosystem).
- Knowledge of Common Data Environments (CDE).
- Familiarity with BIM standards and ISO 19650.
- BIM certification (asset).
- Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken, as you will be collaborating with Québec-based teams.
