Job description

  • Venture Clienting & Scouting Execution · Identify and research startups aligned with approved corporate use cases. · Conduct first-level screening and comparative analysis of potential solutions. · Coordinate communication between startups and internal business units during PoC stages. · Track PoC timelines, milestones, and evaluation outcomes. · Maintain structured scouting and use-case pipeline tracking. 2.Investment Analysis Support Conduct preliminary commercial and market analysis of potential investment targets. Prepare screening summaries and support drafting of Investment Committee materials. Compile due diligence documentation and coordinate information collection from founders. Support portfolio monitoring and performance reporting. 3. Innovation Intelligence & Reporting Draft sections of industry intelligence and VC-perspective reports. Collect, structure, and analyze data on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes. Prepare presentation materials for internal stakeholders. 4. Data & Process Management Maintain startup database and CRM accuracy. Track historical scouting initiatives and outcomes. Ensure reporting consistency and data reliability.

Educational Background: · Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, management, or a related field. Professional Competencies: · Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Azerbaijani and English. Knowledge of Russian and Turkish is a plus. · Strong analytical skills and comfort with various programs, data analysis, and internet technologies. · Ability to identify emerging trends and think creatively. · Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. · Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and professional presentation skills. Relevant Experience: · 1-2 years of professional experience in a relevant field, such as corporate innovation, consulting, venture capital, or startups. · Hands-on knowledge and experience with the startup ecosystem, venture capital, and/or support systems for entrepreneurship development. · Personal interest in technology, innovation, the startup world, and entrepreneurship. Knowledge of the finance/insurance market is preferred.
