Overview

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for working within the HR team to understand hiring needs and pursue qualified individuals for open roles. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist applies their conceptual knowledge of Talent Acquisition and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving many straightforward Talent Acquisition problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.

This position is an Individual Contributor role. The role directly reports to the Senior Manager Talent Acquisition and routinely interacts with human resources, hiring managers, employees, candidates, and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full cycle of Talent Acquisition globally for the business
  • Research, source (using referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present candidates to hiring managers
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for current and projected hiring needs
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand lines of business and hiring needs
  • Partner with HR to provide best practices and customer service to hiring community
  • Support the interview and selection process, including partnering with local HR representatives in various offices
  • Assist with maintaining Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and coordination within the HR team during the onboarding process
  • Produce and analyze TA reports, reach conclusions, or make recommendations to achieve business goals
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR department and TA functional performance
  • Manage workforce planning activities, including forecast histograms, and staffing plans
  • Attend and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
  • Support broader HR initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

  • Typically, 5-10 years since first degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience required
  • BS in Business (HR Management) or equivalent certification/experience preferred
  • Experience in the EPC industry desired
  • Ability to navigate basic functions in different recruiting tools, including Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Can develop competence in own area by performing routine work
  • Has basic knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures in general talent acquisition
  • Can apply knowledge, skills, and organization to complete own work and meet deadlines
  • Able to understand relationships between work processes and the business
  • Aware of costs related to own work, and can communicate information, ask questions and check for understanding
