Job description
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical or electrical installations (HVAC systems, chilled water piping, generator systems, switchgear, UPS, cabling, etc.)
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with design drawings, technical specifications, and applicable codes
- Monitor contractor activities and verify quality of workmanship
- Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Witness and verify testing & commissioning activities (FAT/SAT, pre-functional, functional testing)
- Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and project QA/QC procedures
- Support handover documentation and final acceptance processes
- Minimum 5–10 years of inspection experience, preferably in data center, mission-critical, advanced manufacturing projects
- Strong understanding of international standards (ASHRAE, IEEE, NEC, IEC, etc.)
- Experience in QA/QC inspection processes and documentation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
