SME I2P (Thai Language Expert)

Position Summary:

At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, we are looking for a Thai language expert with an accounting background to join our Invoice to Pay (I2P) team. This role requires strong Thai language proficiency to manage invoice processing, vendor communications, and financial document validation for Thailand operations. You will serve as the Thai-language point of contact, ensuring accurate interpretation and processing of accounting documents in Thai and English.

Accountabilities:

• Invoice & Payment Processing: Process vendor invoices, payment runs, and Travel & Expense claims in Thai and English, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Document Verification & Compliance: Review, translate, and validate Thai-language accounting documents, tax invoices, and statutory records to ensure compliance with Thai regulations.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary Thai-language contact for vendor queries, exception resolution, and coordination with Thailand-based stakeholders.
• Month-End Support & Audit Readiness: Assist with closing activities, reconciliations, and audit documentation requiring Thai language interpretation.

Required Qualifications:

• Thai language proficiency – Speak, Read, and Write (mandatory)
• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification3–5 years of experience in an MNC, Shared Services, or BPO environment with exposure to finance/accounting processes
• Ability to interpret and process financial documents in both Thai and English
• Working knowledge of Invoice to Pay processes (invoice processing, exception handling, payments, T&E)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in Thai and English
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to independently handle queries

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience with SAP ERP and VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) tool
• Familiarity with Thai tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, tax invoices)
• Experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles
• Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives within finance operations
