Our partner is a well-established company with an international environment, looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a development team, ensure successful project delivery, and drive high team performance. This role is key in aligning engineering activities with business objectives and maintaining high technical and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Software Engineers, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery of development projects.
• Promote and drive the adoption of modern architecture, DevOps, and Agile best practices.
• Mentor senior and mid-level developers, supporting their professional growth and leadership capabilities.
• Monitor and report on team performance, delivery velocity, and business impact.
• Ensure consistent delivery in line with the product roadmap and defined KPIs.
• Help shape the engineering culture, hiring approach, and long-term technical vision of the team.
• Collaborate closely with senior and executive stakeholders on priorities, roadmaps, and resource needs.
• Drive innovation, system scalability, and engineering excellence within the team.
• Manage budget and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and focusing on efficiency.
• Represent engineering in cross-functional leadership forums and collaborate with other functions.
• Advocate for and support the adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies to increase productivity.

Required technical background

• 4+ years in a team lead, principal engineer, or engineering manager role, leading software engineers (local and/or remote teams).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development using modern technologies and practices.
• Experience with modern front-end development, ideally using Angular or a similar JavaScript/TypeScript framework.
• Strong background in back-end development with an object-oriented language (e.g. C# or similar).
• Solid experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Hands-on experience designing and working with REST-based APIs.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools is a strong plus.
