Job description
Nielsen is embarking on a transformational journey to modernize and streamline its end-to-end procurement processes. We need a skilled analyst to help our teams navigate these changes. The Procurement Professional will develop and execute sourcing plans for the Real Estate category while maintaining strategic supplier relationships and end to end ownership of key contracts.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the assessment, selection, negotiation, and execution of contracts and relationship management of providers of externally contracted services to Nielsen, including Outsourced Contractors.
Responsibilities:
Align Nielsen real estate strategy with effective procurement category strategies that deliver best-in-class products and services at the lowest possible cost.
Gain support and execute the global real estate strategy
Lead the strategic procurement activities involving the assessment, selection, negotiation and management for externally contracted services.
Negotiate requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and enterprise policies.
Nurture stakeholder relationships by serving as a business partner, helping identify critical business requirements and providing sourcing and procurement services that meet expectations.
Proactively identify areas of opportunity for new business opportunities, process improvement, procedures and/or systems to improve organizational efficiencies and cost controls.
Provide insight to how to best develop and leverage supplier capabilities to meet business needs.
Drive Total Cost of Ownership reductions for categories through analytics.
Previous experience in procurement with expertise in driving cost saving initiatives and other desired business outcomes
Experience in / Passionate about the Real Estate Procurement space
Fluent communication skills in English
Experience developing and implementing category strategy leading to year-over-year KPI improvement (for example cost savings, diversity spend, sustainability, etc.).
Prior experience in the sourcing event management (RFX management): Scoping & Planning, Detailed Requirements Definition & SOW Development, Evaluation & Selection, Negotiation & Contract Award, Implementation, Relationship & Contract Management, and Contract Transition & Termination
Good understanding of product offerings and/or experience negotiating enterprise agreements with large suppliers
A desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment
Ability to multi-task is critical for success in this role. Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously with potentially conflicting tight deadlines
Working knowledge of SAP Ariba or other P2P platforms or spend analytics applications

Compensation
The stated salary range represents the full compensation scale for this level. To allow for future progression and development, new employees are typically hired into the lower to middle portion of this range. An individual's exact starting salary at Nielsen depends on several factors, including geographic location, skills, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
The annual salary for this position ranges from 102200 - 170400 PLN gross.
